Wingnuts Plumbing started as a small business with 2 staff members doing day to day maintenance calls, but over the years it has grown and become the thriving business it is today. Our company is divided into 3 main sections: Leak Detection, Construction and Maintenance each with its own vehicle and crew.
Meet Anton Kohrmann.
Anton has been in the plumbing industry for over 25yr and realised there was a big demand for finding non visible leaks. He purchased the latest machinery from acoustic headphones, gas leak detection and a correlator for the bigger water mains in our south coast water reticulation. Anton is a qualified and licensed plumber and drainlayer and is PIRB registered (registered with the Plumbing Industrial Regulatory Board).
Services
Wingnuts Plumbing provides a quality plumbing service and will detect those unwanted leaks in your home with ease. Leak detection is a specialist job and only Hi-tech specialized machinery is used for this task, making sure that those irritating leaks, big or small , visible or non visible are found and patched in no time.
Construction
There is a Construction vehicle with its crew – this crew do all new work ie. piping out of new bathrooms, new developments,building of new french drains /septic tanks, refurb work, new installations and work off plan and work in close hand with construction.
Plumbing & Leak Detection
The second vehicle is used for Leak Detection with 2 crew – If you have received an excessive water account and need to check for a leak on the property our leak detection can locate it within half a metre. There are 2 different leak detection methods – 1 acoustic leak detection and the second is by using hydrogen /nitrogen gas detection. Both of these methods help locate leaks in walls,gardens, under concrete, under tiles, under baths , in showers etc. They vary in price and no quote can be given for leak detection as we will not know which method would need to be used, how long it would take, what materials would be used etc. By using leak detection equipment you don’t have any unnecessary digging, lifting of paving or breaking of concrete.
Maintenance
The third vehicle is used for Maintenance with its crew – This crew does all maintenance calls, your day to day plumbing eg: broken toilets, leaking toilets, broken cisterns, replacing of geysers.
